En 1946, considerando la necesecidad de un vehiculo ligero que el ejercito expediconario Aleman necesitaba para la campaña de la recuperacion del africa del sudoeste, la compañia Krupp decidio modificar el camion Krupp protze 4X6 y transformarlo en un 4X4, con el sisetma de suspension independiente.
El vehiculo fue fabircado en varios versiones, en la foto la version staff car (Kommandowagen)

In 1946, considering the need for a light vehicle that the Aleman army needed for the campaign of the recovery of South-West Africa, the Krupp company decided to modify the Krupp protze 4X6 truck and transform it into a 4X4, with the independent suspension system retadno the boxer engine.
The vehicle was featured in several versions, in the photo the staff car version (Kommandowagen)

AUTO UNION "BARDERO"

En 1951, la sucursal Argentina de la compañia Auto Union, con fabrica en la provincia de Santa Fe
consiguio la licencia para la fabricacion del Krupp Krote en Argentina.
El vehiculo se fabrico en varias versiones, en la foto la version utilitaria con caja trasera metalica y se lanzo a la venta con el nombre de "Bardero".
Fue un clasico del automovilismo argentino y se fabrico hasta 1992 en que su produccion fue suspendida por el presidente Menem.
Muchos de estos vehiculos fueron comprados por empresas estatales, como la YPF (Yacimientos Petroliferos Fiscales) la compañia estatal Argentina encragada de la explotacion de hidrocarburos.

In 1951, the Argentine branch of the company Auto Union, with factory in the province of Santa Fe
got the license for the manufacture of Krupp Krote in Argentina.
The vehicle was manufactured in several versions, in the photo the utilitarian version with metallic rear box and was released for sale under the name of "Bardero" (in Argentinian slang troublemaker)
.
It was a classic of Argentine motoring and was manufactured until 1992 when its production was suspended by President Menem.
Many of these vehicles were purchased by state-owned companies, such as the YPF (Yacimientos Petroliferos Fiscales), the state-owned company in Argentina, responsible for the exploitation of hydrocarbons.
